🌞 Basal Cell Carcinoma: What You Need to Know
Basal Cell Carcinoma (BCC) is the most common type of skin cancer — and the good news is, it’s also one of the most treatable when caught early.
🔍 What it may look like:
• A shiny bump or pearly nodule
• A pink patch that doesn’t go away
• A sore that bleeds, crusts, or won’t heal
• A scar-like area that feels firm
☀️ What to watch for:
If you notice a new spot, a change in an existing mole, or a sore that lingers, it’s time to have it checked. BCC can appear anywhere — even on areas that don’t see much sun.
